Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the official terms and procedures governing cancellations, contract terminations, and refund eligibility for custom software, web design, and digital growth services provided by Kling Digital.

1. General Principles

Kling Digital is committed to engineering excellence and transparent client collaboration. All engagements proceed strictly in accordance with approved milestone specifications and signed statements of work.

2. Custom Software & Web Design Projects

  • Discovery & Architectural Phase: Initial milestone deposits cover comprehensive technical discovery, domain modeling, and UI wireframing. Once these deliverables are initiated, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation During Active Sprints: If a client terminates an engagement during active development, fees are prorated based on completed sprint story points and engineer hours logged. Any remaining unallocated retainer is promptly refunded.
  • Delivered & Approved Systems: Following user acceptance testing (UAT) sign-off and repository or server credential handover, completed deliverables are non-refundable.

3. Monthly Retainers (SEO & Performance Marketing)

Recurring marketing, SEO, and ongoing maintenance retainers require a minimum written notice of 15 calendar days prior to the start of the next billing cycle. Fees for the current active billing cycle cannot be refunded once campaign management has begun.

4. Third-Party Licenses & Cloud Infrastructure

Direct infrastructure outlays—such as domain name registrations, specialized software licenses, and cloud hosting fees (AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel)—are subject to external vendor terms and are strictly non-refundable.

5. Refund Processing Timelines

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via the original method of payment (bank transfer or original credit card rail) upon mutual execution of termination paperwork.
